Merry Christmas from The Fishers!

Today is our first "official" day of Christmas break...although the girls only had one full day of school this past week! We have been enjoying an unusually cold and snowy start to winter.

As I'm typing this, Kaylea is playing Christmas carols on the piano, and both girls are singing. While we enjoy these vacation days, we are looking back at our 2010 and sharing some of our favorite moments with you.

Kassidy is now one, but in many ways still a puppy. Here she is after her Holiday haircut!

One of our holiday traditions - a trip to the Kentucky Horse Park to see the lights...

as well as Santa...

Julianne was in awe!

And of course, fresh kettle korn!

Julianne is a BIG nutcracker fan. She was so excited to see these!

With the Equestrian Games here in Lexington this year, our community celebrated in many ways. Each of the schools decorated a horse statue for "Horse Play", a companion project to the 2010 Horse Mania. The foals, decorated by each of the Elementary schools, are now on display in the museum at the Horse Park. Here are just a few!

Fun with the neighbors...

Here are Julianne and Kaylea making Christmas cookies with the girls. Thanks Heidi & Ed!

Building snowmen with the Corbetts. Notice that the girls were absent? They were sledding with the Henz kids (thanks Bob!). That didn't stop us!
