Animal Kingdom!
We were amazed how fun this park can be. And the lack of crowds in the morning was wonderful! It's a great park to visit on a hot, sunny day, because of all the shade from the trees.

By far our favorite attraction at Animal Kingdom was the roller coaster - Expedition Everest. We rode it three times! You cannot pass this up next time you are there... the coaster runs in and around "Mount Everest" which you see here in the background. The line for the ride travels through a series of rooms that are a combination of small stores where you would imagine purchasing supplies for your climb of Mount Everest, and other museum displays of the culture and folklore of the Himalayas, including the legend of the Yeti. The ride was the best, even for Kristin, who is not a fan of most roller coasters. Julianne was all in (like her Dad) and rode with her arms in the air!
What else would you expect to do at Animal Kingdom, but go on a Safari! This was an incredible adventure, right out among the animals. 
Here you can get an idea of how close we were... as you see Julianne enjoying the view. She is a huge animal lover, and hopes to be a Vet when she grows up, or an "Animal Scientist".
We finished up at a big playground. How did they have any energy left?
