Happy 8th Birthday Kaylea!! ...and Spring Break

For Kaylea's 8th birthday we were vacationing in sunny Florida! Kaylea's birthday present was a new bike, which was greatly needed since she has grown so much this past winter!

Kaylea's first BIG slumber party. For the most part, they had a lot of fun.

Kaylea caught in a silly moment, wearing her new pj shorts, well, not exactly as they are intended to be worn...

A fun game of twister...

Julianne had fun too!

In prepartion for our trip, the girls took swim lessons. Julianne is a little fish!

She even went off the diving board. She needed a little help the first time, but after that she was jumping in! Kaylea jumps off the HIGH DIVE, but they are both so fast that I could not get a good picture in mid air.

FINALLY, sunny Florida!

One of the highlights for the girls was a golf outing with Daddy, Grandpa and Grandma. Julianne was very serious about her golf! As always, Kaylea thouroughly enjoyed it and hit some great shots.

Leader Daughter Camp-out

Kaylea and I enjoyed an overnight campout at our local Girl Scout camp, along with one of my co-leaders and good friend Lisa and her daughter Maria.

Kaylea and Maria...sizing up the climbing tower!

Smiles before the climb...

It's Kaylea's turn to go! She was very brave, and wants to climb to the TOP next time.

Happy 4th Birthday Julianne!

Julianne is four! We can't believe how grown up she is.

We celebrated with her friends at her favorite place, gymnastics!

Julianne jumping high!

Her gifts included many Tinkerbell items - her very favorite character!

Disney on Ice

The girls got all dressed up to go see Disney on Ice. Julianne had a hard time choosing between Tinkerbell and Cinderella.

Here they are showing me the back of their pretty hair!

Julianne was AMAZED by how close we were and how wonderful the skating characters were on ice!

Minnie Mouse up close...

SO MANY Genies!

Julianne's favorite was the princesses! You'll have to imagine how wonderful they were as our camera battery died right before they hit the ice... Maybe next year!
