Our shopping is done, our cards have been sent, well, all but one (Kristin received a call from a close friend in town who received an empty envelope this year... it happens!). Most of our teacher gifts have not yet been exchanged, due to the 3+ snow days that we had the last week of school! The girls' school parties and performances also missed due to the weather, have been postponed until January. This holiday rush has seemed a little odd this year, with the unusually cold and snowy weather and having the kids home for the majority of 2 weeks already!

We are finally here, it's Christmas Eve, and we look forward to setting aside all of the busyness and stress to remember what Christmas is really all about, the greatest gift of all from our Father God, His son Jesus, our Savior. Tonight we enjoyed an incredible Christmas eve service at church, which was led by the youth and childrens' choirs. Julianne played the part of a shepherd and Kaylea, one of the narrators. Here are a few pics...

Kaylea was a little nervous, however she made a great narrator! She was excited to be reading the story of Jesus' birth.
