One of our favorite things... painting nails

The girls love to have their nails painted. Here we are the night before Julianne's Christmas Program.

Decorating our tree

Busy elves...

A beautiful tree!

Brownie Girl Scouts Explorium Camp-In

Kaylea and I, and 20 girls from her Brownie troop, along with a few other brave parents, had a camp-in at our local Children's Museum.

Going right to sleep at midnight... RIGHT.

Lexington Christmas Traditions...

Counting down the days until Christmas... each night in December the girls unwrap a book to read for our evening storytime. Kristin has fun after Thanksgiving hunting around our house for all of our Christmas themed books to wrap!

Making a gingerbread house at church.
Santa at the Horse Park after a fun drive through Southern Lights.

Thanksgiving

There is so much that we have to be thankful for, too many blessings to count! This year Mike's mom Kay, along with Sherrie and Dave, joined us at our house for Thanksgiving.

Stuffing the turkey...
A day of rest, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!

Having Daddy home is the BEST!

Girls in Hats... and the unspeakable season...

...and glasses and slippers. An ordinary day at our house, playing dress up of course! Kaylea says they were "super sleuths".

Good friends joined us to commiserate with Kristin, and to celebrate the END of the worst football season ever for our poor Michigan Wolverines!

Rough & Tumble Julianne

This November Julianne broke... the OTHER collar bone. Halloween seems to be a dangerous time of year for her! After a few days of pain, she is back in the swing of things, at least with all but the left arm, which is in a sling. No gymnastics until sometime in January though, which is probably the toughest part for her!

Leaf Raking

Our fourth autumn in our home and we finally have enough leaves to rake! The girls really enjoyed it, and hope that maybe next year we'll have enough for a pile to jump in...

Halloween Sweeties

Minnie Mouse... and Tinkerbell!

Trick-or-treating in the neighborhood with friends.

Pumpkin Carving

The Fisher Family Pumpkin Carving! A family tradition, loved by those who like to get slimy (Mike & Julianne) and enjoyed by Kaylea, despite the gooey hands.
Grandma and Grandpa Patrick were here to enjoy Halloween with us this year. Dad enjoyed watching the pumpkin cleaning.

Family Camp

Another Fall Break activity - Family campout in our backyard!

We pitched our tent and built a fire. Hot dogs and smores for dinner!

Sleeping in the tent...

Newport Aquarium

During Fall Break we took a day trip to the Newport Aquarium.

Julianne's favorite thing was seeing the penguins.

Kristin's favorite was feeding the birds. Kaylea enjoyed it too, until the bird landed on her head!

Mike loved getting up close and personal with the sharks as we walked through a tunnel that went through the gigantic fish tank.

This one swam above us as we loooked up!

Kaylea's favorite was PETTING the sharks! We never would have predicted that one!

Golf... all in the family

As you may know, golf is a big part of our family life. Daddy and Grandpa took Kaylea and Julianne to golf clinic Saturday morning. Kaylea gets some pointers from Bret, one of the local golf pros. On Sunday, Mike & Dad went to the Ryder Cup in Louisville.
